(Industrial Training & Placement Program) provided by NSPL in India

NSPL has launched EDGE (Training & Placement Program) in India. The program is targeted at bright and fresh Bachelors in engineering. Program is running in association with many Universities & Colleges.

The 6 months long program will include 8 weeks of exhaustive class-room and practical training conducted by experienced Software Engineers of NSPL, the remaining period of 16 weeks include Live Project Training.

On successful completion of the program the candidate would get a certificate from NSPL and also could land with Job opportunities in the NSPL, affiliates and group companies

Program Overview

The program is designed to “train-the-right applicant” to support the applicant to get into the job market (or to take the career to the next level). This program will focus on hands-on training in the job industry.

The Program will provide applicants with a ready-to-work, complete training for basic hands-on training and work implementation.

Industrial Training in India

Industrial Training is an essential and a vital part of Computer Education, whether a person opts for BCA, MCA or Engineering in Computer Science. But, surprisingly this part of the curriculum is the most ignored one. Students generally consider semester dedicated to Industrial Training as a vacation. But this is the period to learn most of the things that will benefit you in future while pursuing your career.

In India, many students from good institute find it hard to get a job or to fit as per industry standards. The only reason for this is that these students spent their industrial training leisurely. They lack the basic skills required for a person to fit in the corporate world.

A person who has undergone a proper Industrial Training will certainly come out wearing a lot of feather in his cap. In a software company a person not only requires good technical skills but also requires excellent communication skills. Even if he does not possess the skills required to excel in corporate world, he can develop these by the time he graduates. The reason for this, simple, at least the person is  aware of the path he has to follow and what kind of  means he need to use to reach his destination.

But, students in India cannot be blamed for all these things. There are hardly any good facilities for them to avail. Most of them are falsely attracted to the coaching institutes which can only provide them with theoretical knowledge and that too to the limit of the book that it is following. Proper Industry level study is out of the scope of any institute. Even if a coaching institute claims to provide students with live project experience, you can sense the bluff straight away. A live project is an ongoing project in some industry only.

So the students should develop a habit of going for skill development rather that going for free grades provided by coaching institutes. They should in fact search for software companies, and believe it, the efforts will bear the fruits. But yet there are only few companies that provide proper industrial training in India.
