As the rapid advancing technology and information systems grows at a rapid pace due to the innovation and research and development sometimes IT makes sense to wait to implement the next generation of IT systems in the future. Of course an organization or business cannot wait forever and eventually IT has to decide on a system and implement it.
Unfortunately, once you decide on an information technology system and the corresponding hardware and then design IT and finally implement a system, there is already a new generation of technology that is better. Of course the organization or business now wants the new technology and therefore implements changes in its current system to upgrade.
